This hub is the news desk for Afterworld. The game is upcoming. There is no patch list and no launch-day hotfix to recap. What exists is a public timeline, and it is short enough to read in one sitting and important enough not to mix with rumor.

When diary two lands, it gets its own page and a link from here. The same goes for a release window, a playtest, or a systems deep dive. Until then, treat social screenshots as unconfirmed unless they also appear on official links.
Why an updates hub before a patch
Paradox players do not learn a GSG from the trailer. They learn it from diaries. Afterworld’s first diary already told you the Fall is in the future, the map is semi-procedural, and the second genre is settlement survival. That is more useful than a hundred unofficial “leaked origin” posts. Bookmark this hub the way you would bookmark a HOI or CK3 diary index.
Use the recap if you missed gamescom. Use the diary page if you want Lind’s comparisons to Crusader Kings, Hearts of Iron, Victoria, and Stellaris. Use the preview if you want a judgment. Use getting started if you want a reading order that is not chronological.
How we will log future changes
Each official drop becomes a child page with: date, source, what it confirms, what it still hides, and links into the systems guides that must be edited. If diary two names a third origin, the origins guide and origins tier list move the same day. If a spec sheet appears, system requirements stops saying TBC.
We will not turn this hub into a rumor mill. Leaks from the week before gamescom are already obsolete; the announcement replaced them. Community theories belong in community links, not in the changelog.
What is still missing from the timeline
A release year would be nice. A content roadmap, a playable build, named laws, a full origin roster, and hardware numbers would be nicer. The wishlist checklist is how you hear those things from Paradox instead of from a random clip.
