Afterworld Community Links

Community is where Afterworld players will argue about origins before they can click them. That is healthy if you remember it is not a patch note. This page lists the player-facing spaces and the YouTube breakdowns this wiki already trusts enough to embed. For Paradox URLs, use official links. For the index, use the links hub.

The game is upcoming. Most “community knowledge” today is people rereading the same press kit. Good community posts cite Dev Diary 1 or the B-roll. Bad ones invent a ten-origin roster. Mute the second kind.

Discord and Reddit

The official site advertises an Afterworld Discord invite. That will be the looking-for-group room when multiplayer is more than a promise. Until a client exists, it is a hype and diary-discussion room. Do not download files from random Discord users. There is no legitimate Afterworld.exe.

Reddit’s r/afterworld is the obvious English board. Treat flair as opinion. If a screenshot is not one of the official images (the same set this wiki downloaded for settlements and the home page), ask where it came from.

Creator videos this wiki already uses

We do not embed a video unless the ID is real and the topic matches the page. Current community films on the wiki:

Those creators are not affiliated with this wiki. They are listed because we cited them. When One Proud Bavarian’s promised deeper Stockholm impressions go public, they will be evaluated like any other source: useful if they match later official text, discarded if they contradict a diary.

How to talk about a game that is not out

Use origin names Paradox used: shelterfolk, zealots, Traumas, Ancients. Use system names Paradox used: Ideas Tree, convoys, migration. If you need a ranking, link the origins tier list and admit it is opinion. If you need a tutorial, link getting started instead of writing a fake control scheme.

Co-op groups should share the wishlist checklist and agree not to buy GPUs until system requirements prints a number.

What this page will add later

A mods subsection when the workshop opens (the interview promised tools). A translator subsection if fan GUIs appear. A list of useful overlay tools if PDS players need them. We will not add script marketplaces or account sellers.

Hands-on hype is useful color. It is not a patch. This page exists so that color has a home that does not contaminate the systems guides.
